The Manchester Valley Athletic Field
|
Manchester field serves as the USD Men's Lacrosse Home playing field. It is located across the parking lot from the USD Softball Complex, directly behind Cunningham Stadium and the Jenny Craig Pavilion. In addition to serving as the home of the Toreros, Manchester Field serves as a multi-purpose field for the Women’s Lacrosse team, the USD Football and Soccer programs, as well as Rugby, Intramurals, and recreational softball.
The field surface intself is "Sprint Turf", a synthetic grass surface of over 130,000 sq. feet, and is lighted for night events. |

Directions to Campus:
GOING NORTH ON INTERSTATE 5
- Take I-8 East
- Exit Morena Blvd.
- Turn right on Linda Vista Road
- Second light - turn left into West Entrance for the tennis courts.
- Third light - Turn left into the Main Entrance and then turn right for Torero Stadium, Jenny Craig Pavilion, Cunningham Baseball Stadium, Softball Complex.
- After passing the main entrance turn left into the Sports Center Entrance for the pool, gym, and Athletics office.
GOING SOUTH ON INTERSTATE 5
- Exit Tecolote Road/Sea World Drive
- Left at signal
- Right on Morena Blvd.
- Left on Napa Street
- Left on Linda Vista Road
- First light - turn left into West Entrance for the tennis courts.
- Second light - Turn left into the Main Entrance and then turn right for Torero Stadium, Jenny Craig Pavilion, Cunningham Baseball Stadium, Softball Complex.
- After passing the main entrance turn left into the Sports Center Entrance for the pool, gym, and Athletics office.
GOING WEST ON INTERSTATE 8
- Exit Morena Blvd.
- Turn right on Linda Vista Road
- Second light - turn left into West Entrance for the tennis courts.
- Third light - Turn left into the Main Entrance and then turn right for Torero Stadium, Jenny Craig Pavilion, Cunningham Baseball Stadium, Softball Complex.
- After passing the main entrance turn left into the Sports Center Entrance for the pool, gym, and Athletics office.
GOING SOUTH ON INTERSTATE 15 or 805
- Go 163 South
- Exit Genesee Avenue and turn right
- Left on Linda Vista Road
- Continue approximately 2 miles
- Once you pass the street Via Las Cumbres - turn right into the first entrance to the Sports Center for the pool, gym and Athletics offices.
- The second entrance to the right (at the light) is the Main Entrance and then turn right for Torero Stadium, Jenny Craig Pavilion, Cunningham Baseball Stadium and Softball COmplex.
- The third entrance to the right (at the light) is the West Entrance for the tennis courts.
